I write poetry, fiction and non-fiction for adults and children, published in a wide range of magazines, anthologies and newspapers.  I often write about relationships and have special interests in social, psychological and environmental issues. 

I tutored Creative Writing, Arts and Social Sciences courses for The Open University and lead Wimborne Writing Group and Wimborne Stanza (Poetry Society) group.

Experienced at leading writing workshops for museums, festivals, and writing groups, I’ve worked at Wimborne Literary Festival since 2012. I have trained and worked in Memory Cafes using poetry to help people with memory loss.   I have qualified and worked as a counsellor and life coach (RD1st) and offer one-to-one coaching sessions and mentoring to people involved in the creative arts, particularly writers and poets. Member of The Society of Authors, Literature Works Academy, The Poetry Society, and NAWE.

My qualifications include: BA English; MSc Sociology & Social Policy; MA Creative Writing; PGCE (post-16 and adults); HEA fellow.

    My retired mum who is fairly newly living in Wimborne would love to know more about your Writing Group as she herself enjoys writing poetry and this would be a wonderful way for her to also meet new friends .
