After a long summer break, WWG is back with a seminar this week and it will be great for us all to see each other and flex our writing muscles after gadding about enjoying ourselves at home and abroad! Over the summer, we’ve had so many writing successes! One of Martin’s short stories has been shortlisted in The Wells Festival competition; Penny and Mary both have stories in ‘The Best of Cafe Lit 5’ (Penny has 2 in this magazine); Mary’s story, ‘Winter Games’, is to be published in the Momaya Press 2016 anthology. Gail had success recently with a travel writing piece, and there are other successes, too, so I will no doubt be updating this post soon!
